Yonkers Man, Jewellz Mora, Charged with Burglary and Endangering Children in Halfmoon

Jewellz Mora, 26, of Yonkers, has been arrested and charged with multiple offenses following a burglary in Halfmoon, New York. On Thursday, May 15, the Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office arrested Mora, who is facing serious charges including second-degree burglary, fourth-degree grand larceny, fourth-degree criminal mischief, and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The charges stem from an incident that occurred on May 6 at a residence on Woodridge Circle in Halfmoon. Mora is accused of unlawfully entering the home with the intent to commit a crime and stealing several pairs of sneakers valued at over $1,000. Additionally, Mora reportedly damaged the property by cutting a window screen to gain entry into the home.

At the time of the crime, two minor children were inside the house, which led to the charges of child endangerment. Mora was arraigned in the Halfmoon Town Court and has been remanded to the Saratoga County Jail as he awaits further proceedings. The investigation is ongoing.
