In a major breakthrough, two individuals, Yeruva Abhishek Reddy (30) and Thumma Chinnamma (41), were arrested by the Commissioner’s Task Force, North Zone, and Narayanguda Police for their involvement in a job visa racket. The duo is accused of deceiving job seekers who were aspiring for employment opportunities abroad.
The accused operated the fraudulent scheme through a firm named ‘JMJ Reddy Consultancy,’ located in Himayat Nagar. According to the police, Reddy, who had previously traveled to Singapore on a job visa, exploited his international contacts to set up the scam. He partnered with Thumma Chinnamma, and together they lured victims with promises of high-paying jobs overseas, offering quick visa processing, guaranteed job placements, and no qualifications or prior work experience required.
The police have confirmed that the operation preyed on individuals eager to work abroad, leading them to part with large sums of money for non-existent opportunities. Both suspects are now in custody, and further investigations are underway to uncover the full extent of the scam.
