Subramanyapura police have arrested Yashas, 25, an IT firm employee and BCA graduate from Kengeri, in connection with the stabbing murder of his female friend in a hotel room on June 6.
According to police, Yashas had been in a relationship with the woman, who is married with two children, for six months. The relationship ended recently, after which the accused allegedly stabbed her to death following the breakup.
The investigation is ongoing as police gather more details about the incident and the motive behind the attack.
