BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (WBRC) — A man has been arrested following a shooting in north Birmingham that left one person injured.
Officers responded Sunday, August 17, to the 2400 block of 34th Avenue North after reports of a shooting. Birmingham Fire and Rescue transported the victim to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The Jefferson County District Attorney’s Office issued warrants against 48-year-old Willie McBride, charging him with first-degree assault and possession of a firearm by a prohibited person.
McBride is currently held at the Jefferson County Jail with a $45,000 bond.
