MYRTLE BEACH, SC — A Myrtle Beach man was sentenced to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, second offense.
Willie Long, 39, entered the guilty plea through the 15th Circuit Solicitor’s Office. The conviction counts as a strike under South Carolina’s three-strikes law.
In September 2023, the South Carolina Law Enforcement Division (SLED) conducted a search of Long’s home, where agents discovered approximately 40 grams of methamphetamine, equivalent to about eight nickels. Long admitted that the drugs belonged to him.
