William Brown Arrested for Robbery at Greenville IHOP

Ex-employee and manager conspired in $3,300 robbery

GREENVILLE, N.C. (WITN) — William Brown, a former IHOP employee, was arrested after police said he conspired with the restaurant’s manager to rob the Greenville location on June 16th. According to warrants, Brown, 32, held an employee at gunpoint and demanded money during the robbery.

Authorities reported that Brown and IHOP manager Chico Haddock planned the heist together. The robbery resulted in nearly $3,300 stolen from the restaurant.

Brown was charged with common law robbery and felony conspiracy. He was taken into custody by Greenville police and is being held at Pitt County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
