BAXTER COUNTY, Ark. (KAIT) — A domestic dispute in Baxter County led to the arrest of Wesley Grant Bray, 35, and his wife, Hannah Bray, 24, on drug trafficking charges after deputies seized nearly 11 pounds of methamphetamine.
Early Wednesday morning, sheriff’s deputies responded to a disturbance on Highway 62 East. The victim told investigators that Wesley Bray shot a hole in the wall of their home and left while intoxicated. She also reported that he pointed a handgun at her and their infant multiple times, making paranoid statements about threats to his life.
While en route, deputies received a second call reporting a man throwing rocks at vehicles and stepping into traffic near the residence. Officers located Bray, who had crashed his Chevrolet Equinox into a fence, and arrested him.
During the investigation, deputies found a bullet hole in a bedroom wall and 115.5 grams of suspected meth in plain view. A subsequent search warrant revealed approximately 10.8 pounds of methamphetamine in a car trunk at the residence, along with packaging materials for distribution. Authorities also seized cash and two vehicles.
Wesley Bray faces multiple charges, including:
Trafficking a controlled substance
Possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver
Possession of drug paraphernalia
Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
Aggravated assault on a family or household member (2 counts)
Endangering the welfare of a minor
Criminal mischief in the first degree
Interfering with emergency communications
Leaving the scene of an accident with property damage
Parole violation
Hannah Bray was arrested for trafficking a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Sheriff John Montgomery stated she had full knowledge of the meth at the residence and the sales made from the batch.
Wesley Bray is being held on a $250,000 bond, while Hannah Bray’s bond is set at $150,000. Both are scheduled to appear in circuit court in November.
