Wayne Palmer Jailed for Brutal Four-Hour Attack in High Wycombe

22-year-old sentenced to over seven years for GBH & drug crimes

A violent thug who subjected a man to a four-hour assault in High Wycombe has been jailed for seven years and six months.

Wayne Palmer, 22, of Weston Road, Ealing, attacked a man in his 30s on December 13, 2023, on Priory Road after demanding money for drugs.

Brutal Four-Hour Assault
Palmer forced the victim into a nearby address, where he and an accomplice continued their relentless attack for four hours, leaving the man with life-changing injuries.

He was arrested on January 2, 2024, and charged the next day.

Court Ruling & Sentencing
Palmer pleaded guilty to:

GBH with intent

Attempted robbery

False imprisonment

Two counts of supplying Class A drugs (crack cocaine & heroin)

At Aylesbury Crown Court on March 19, he was sentenced to seven years and six months in prison.

Police Response
Detective Constable Emily Sendall said:

“I hope this sentence shows that Thames Valley Police will not tolerate such senseless violence and drug dealing. I commend the victim for his bravery in coming forward.”
