WAREHAM, MASSACHUSETTS (NEWSWIRE) – In a significant narcotics bust, the Wareham Police Department (WPD) executed six narcotic-related search warrants across multiple locations in Wareham, Massachusetts. The operation was led by the WPD Criminal Investigation Division, with support from the Patrol Division.
As a result of the searches, officers seized over 716 grams (about ½ kilogram) of suspected cocaine, along with drug-related paraphernalia and a significant amount of U.S. currency.
Alvin Pitts, 45, of Wareham, and Stefanie Dors, 54, also from Wareham, were both arrested without incident. Pitts was charged with trafficking cocaine over 200 grams, as well as possession with intent to distribute Suboxone, a Class B substance, in a subsequent offense. Pitts has a prior history, having served a sentence for a trafficking case in 2009 in Plymouth.
Dors was charged with possession with intent to distribute cocaine and was arraigned before being released on Monday, February 10, 2025, after being arrested for a narcotic-related offense on February 7, 2025.
Wareham Police Chief Walter Correia Jr. commended the efforts of the Criminal Investigations Division and patrol officers for their dedication to removing a large quantity of drugs from the streets of Wareham, further improving public safety in the area.
