LOUDOUN COUNTY, Va. (7News) — A substitute teacher at Stone Hill Middle School in Loudoun County is facing criminal charges after being arrested for indecent exposure near the campus Monday morning.
Authorities say Wade Ponce De Leon, 31, was observed engaging in a sexual act alone in a vehicle parked approximately 30 feet from the school’s fence and about 200 feet from the rear entrance.
According to the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO), De Leon had reported for substitute teaching duty earlier that same day. Deputies responded to the incident and arrested De Leon on the scene.
He is currently being held without bond at the Loudoun County Adult Detention Center. No official statement has been issued by Loudoun County Public Schools at this time.
The investigation is ongoing.
