In a significant development, the Economic Offenses Wing (EOW) on Friday arrested Vishwajit Vinayakrao Jadhav for allegedly securing a Rs5 crore loan by fraudulently mortgaging a flat owned by his wife, Nikita Shetty. The complaint was filed by Nikita Shetty, and the incident is believed to have taken place between December 2022 and October 2023.

According to the police, Jadhav, the son-in-law of the late Jagannath Shetty, the owner of Vaishali Hotel, conspired with Ravi Pardeshi and Rajesh Choudhary to obtain the loan.
