COLUMBIA COUNTY, Pa. — A man has been arrested and charged with criminal homicide in connection to the death of Katlyn Harp, a 33-year-old woman reported missing in Bloomsburg on June 19, 2025.
According to the Pennsylvania State Police, Vincent Lloyd Harp, 39, of Bloomsburg, was taken into custody on Sunday following an extensive investigation. He has been charged with criminal homicide and tampering with evidence. Harp has been denied bail and is currently being held at the Columbia County Correctional Facility.
Authorities say the arrest was the result of a “determined and intense investigation” conducted by the Troop N Major Case Team in coordination with the Columbia County District Attorney’s Office.
Public involvement played a key role in the case, with numerous tips submitted via 911 and social media. Investigators reportedly followed up on every lead.
In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Trooper Anthony Petroski confirmed the transition of the case from a missing person to a criminal homicide investigation and offered condolences to the victim’s loved ones.
“Although an arrest was made, our condolences go out to the victim’s family and friends,” Trooper Petroski said.
