In a shocking case from Vikarabad, a woman named Kavita and her lover Ramakrishna have been arrested for allegedly murdering her husband, Ratnaiah, and attempting to stage the death as an accident.
The couple resided in Chowdapur village, Vikarabad district. Police reports reveal that Kavita had entered into a relationship with Ramakrishna a few months ago. As Ratnaiah began suspecting his wife’s fidelity, quarrels between them increased.
Fearing that Ratnaiah would discover their affair, Kavita and Ramakrishna allegedly planned his murder. On Saturday, as Ratnaiah returned home from the fields, Ramakrishna ran his tractor over him, killing him instantly. The couple initially claimed that an unknown tractor had accidentally hit him.
Suspicious of the circumstances, a relative requested a police investigation, which led to Ramakrishna being taken into custody. During interrogation, he confessed that the murder was carried out with Kavita’s assistance. Both suspects have now been arrested and remanded, with further investigation ongoing.
