Vijayakumar Mohanara Miriyala Arrested in Rs10.75 Crore Canara Bank Robbery

Three arrested for major bank heist in Managuli, Vijayapura

Vijayapura police have arrested three individuals in connection with the robbery of the Canara Bank branch in Managuli on May 25.

Superintendent of Police Laxman Nimbaragi informed reporters on June 26 that the arrested include Vijayakumar Mohanara Miriyala, 41, the Senior Manager of Canara Bank, along with his accomplices Chandrashekar Kotilingam Nerella, 38, and Sunil Narrasimhalu Moka, 40.

Authorities have recovered gold jewellery and bars valued at Rs10.75 crore, along with two cars used during the robbery. The arrests mark a significant breakthrough in the case.
