Hyderabad: Two individuals were arrested in separate operations by the State Task Force (STF) of the Telangana Excise and Prohibition Department, resulting in the seizure of a total of 1.27 kilograms of ganja in different parts of the city.
In the first operation, the STF-C team apprehended V. Ganesha (33), a resident of Sitaphalmandi in Secunderabad, after recovering 415 grams of dry ganja from his possession. The accused and the seized contraband were handed over to the Musheerabad police station for further investigation.
The second operation involved another individual (details not specified in the report), contributing to the total 1.27 kg of ganja seized in the city. Authorities confirmed that further investigation is ongoing to determine the source and distribution network of the seized drugs.
