UT police arrested two individuals involved in multiple vehicle thefts in Manimajra following a case registered on July 29. A local resident named Sunny had reported the theft of his Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle from near the Vishwakarma temple on Mansa Devi Road.

Acting swiftly, police arrested Mohammad Salman (30), a resident of New Darshani Bagh, Manimajra, and Mukesh Kumar (29), from Ratpur Colony, Pinjore. The stolen bike was recovered from the Dasehra Ground.

Further investigation led to the recovery of two additional stolen motorcycles — a Hero Splendor, found without tyres and fitted with spare shock absorbers, and a TVS Raider. All three motorcycles were seized under Section 106 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).

Both Salman and Kumar are known drug addicts with a history of serious criminal offenses, including arson and cases under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act. The accused were presented before a court and have been remanded to judicial custody.

Police stated they will seek production warrants if further leads arise in the ongoing investigation.
