UPPER MARLBORO, Md. – Authorities have arrested and charged 24-year-old William Tebo of Upper Marlboro in connection with the fatal stabbing of 43-year-old Tyrone Hager.

On February 2, 2025, at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a fight in the 11000 block of Croom Road. Upon arrival, they discovered Hager inside a vehicle suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.

Through their investigation, detectives identified Tebo as the suspect and located him shortly after the murder. The preliminary investigation suggests the stabbing occurred during a dispute, though it does not appear the two were acquainted prior to the incident.

Tebo has been charged with first-degree murder and other related charges. He is currently in custody at the Department of Corrections.
