Ulster Man Sentenced for Criminal Trespass and Terroristic Threats

Alexander J. Ornelas Sentenced to Up to 18 Months for 2024 Crimes

ULSTER, Pa. – Alexander J. Ornelas IV, 19, of Ulster, was sentenced on March 25, 2025, for two crimes he committed in 2024. The Bradford County District Attorney’s Office announced that Ornelas was sentenced to a minimum of three months to a maximum of 18 months in the Bradford County Correctional Facility, followed by two years of probation.

Ornelas was convicted for criminal trespass (second-degree felony) and terroristic threats. The Pennsylvania State Police charged him with terroristic threats in June 2024 after he allegedly waved and fired a handgun at a swimming hole. He was also charged with criminal trespass in September 2024, after an incident where he cut security camera wires before unlawfully entering a property on Herrick Street in Athens.

In addition to his sentence, Ornelas is now prohibited from legally possessing firearms due to his convictions.
