GOSHEN, NY — After a seven-month investigation into narcotics activity in Newburgh, the Orange County Sheriff’s Office Special Operations Group arrested three individuals on charges of drug possession.
Officers executed several search warrants, seizing 560 grams of cocaine and over $34,000 in cash.
The arrests included:
Ulee Johnson, 46 – charged with felony drug possession and remanded to the Orange County Jail.
Jaddon Johnson, 25 – charged with felony drug possession and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance.
Arcadio Morales, 45 – charged with misdemeanor drug possession and issued an appearance ticket.
Sheriff Paul Arteta highlighted the risks involved in narcotics investigations, praising the collaboration with the Orange County Drug Task Force, the FBI Hudson Valley Safe Streets Task Force, and Newburgh Police.
District Attorney David Hoovler emphasized the importance of these operations in protecting the community, stating that law enforcement remains committed to targeting drug dealers who endanger public safety for financial gain.
