MADERA COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — Authorities have arrested 28-year-old Tyler Norris in connection with a series of burglaries at a private residence along Highway 145 in Madera County.

The Madera County Sheriff’s Office reports that Norris was wanted on felony burglary and grand theft warrants after several theft incidents were reported on the same property. Witnesses had previously seen Norris at the scene multiple times.

On July 7, security personnel confronted Norris as he was seen leaving the property in a black Chevrolet Silverado. Deputies later located and arrested him.

His bail was set at $50,000, which he has since posted, resulting in his release.

The investigation is ongoing. Authorities have not released further details about the stolen items or whether more suspects may be involved.
