BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. — Authorities have arrested Tyler Martin in connection with a string of vehicle break-ins reported Thursday in and around Lake Vista and Forest, according to the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO).
Several victims reported stolen credit cards, many of which were later used in attempted fraudulent charges. With assistance from Bedford County residents, law enforcement identified and interviewed Martin.
Following the investigation, Martin was charged with:
Three misdemeanor counts of credit card fraud
Six felony counts of credit card theft
The sheriff’s office continues to seek public assistance for any further information related to the case.
