Tyler Green, Hope Adams Arrested in Colorado Springs Car Theft

Suspects gave false names; Adams had 3 warrants, tried to escape

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KOAA) — Two individuals were arrested Wednesday night in connection with a stolen vehicle, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

The incident took place just before 9:00 p.m. in the 4700 block of Rusina Road, near the I-25 and Garden of the Gods Road interchange. Officers located a stolen Hyundai at the scene.

During the investigation, CSPD arrested 24-year-old Tyler Green and 29-year-old Hope Adams. Police say both suspects initially provided false names but were later correctly identified.

Authorities also revealed that Adams had three outstanding warrants for her arrest. While in custody, she attempted to escape but was quickly apprehended.

Both suspects now face charges related to motor vehicle theft and obstruction.
