Tyler Egry Arrested in Grand Junction for Burglary and DUI

20-year-old accused of breaking into business and stealing car

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. — A 20-year-old man has been arrested following a burglary and vehicle theft in Grand Junction.

According to the Grand Junction Police Department (GJPD), officers responded on October 4 to a report of a possible break-in at Mobility Driven on North Crest Drive. Investigators say the suspect forced entry into the business, stole several items, and took a vehicle from the property.

The stolen car was later found at a local high school on Tuesday. Following further investigation, police identified and arrested Tyler Egry on Wednesday.

Egry was booked into the Mesa County Jail and faces multiple charges, including second-degree burglary, DUI, and trespassing of a motor vehicle.

The investigation remains ongoing, according to police.
