Columbus-based social media influencer Tyler Bossetti is facing federal wire fraud charges after allegedly orchestrating a fraudulent real estate investment scheme that cost investors over $11 million.
Bossetti, known for his large online following and podcast All for Nothing, has been charged in U.S. District Court in Columbus with wire fraud and aiding in the filing of a false or fraudulent document. He operated under his company, Boss Lifestyle LLC.
According to court documents, from September 2019 to June 2023, Bossetti lured investors with promises of high returns—often 30% or more—on short-term real estate deals. He issued promissory notes claiming the investments were risk-free and secured by properties he owned.
However, federal investigators allege these claims were false. Bossetti reportedly knew he couldn’t meet the obligations listed in the notes and instead misused investor funds for personal luxury expenses, including upscale housing, vehicles, and speculative cryptocurrency trades—many of which resulted in major losses.
In total, Bossetti received more than $20 million from investors, according to prosecutors.
He boasts a following of 1 million on Instagram, where he promotes himself as an entrepreneur and consultant. Despite his online persona, authorities describe his financial dealings as deceptive and criminal.
Bossetti is also facing 12 civil lawsuits in Franklin County Common Pleas Court, with half of them still active.
A court hearing on the federal charges is scheduled for June 13.
