Two Women Arrested for Meth in Osage County Traffic Stop

Summer Self and Hailey Bishop charged with meth offenses

OSAGE COUNTY, Kan. — Two women were arrested after a traffic stop led to the discovery of methamphetamine on Friday, June 27.

An Osage County Sheriff’s Office deputy pulled over a vehicle at the intersection of 181st and Shawnee Heights Road around 11:00 p.m. for a traffic violation. During the stop, illegal narcotics were found in the vehicle.

The two women taken into custody were identified as Summer D. Self, of Vassar, and Hailey J. Bishop, of Quenemo. Self was charged with distribution of methamphetamine, while Bishop faces possession charges.

Both suspects were transported to the Osage County Jail Facility where they remain in custody pending further legal action.
