Authorities in Arapahoe County, Colorado, have arrested two additional suspects accused of stealing two English Bulldog puppies from Perfect Pets in Centennial. The theft occurred on February 21, 2025, when three suspects executed a planned robbery at the pet store.

Timothy Davis, one of the suspects, allegedly faked a seizure to distract staff, while another suspect grabbed the puppies from their enclosure and fled the store. Davis was arrested shortly after the crime. A good Samaritan later returned one of the stolen puppies after purchasing it from a street vendor in north Denver, recognizing it from news reports about the theft.

On February 28, deputies arrested Jonathan Muniz, the second suspect, at a home in Denver. Muniz allegedly lifted the lid of the puppy enclosure and, after struggling with an employee who tried to stop him, kicked the employee before escaping with the puppies.

Muniz is currently held on a no-bond hold at the Arapahoe County Detention Facility. He faces multiple charges, including robbery, theft, conspiracy to commit theft, third-degree assault, violation of a protection order, and two counts of animal cruelty.

A third suspect, Porfiria Tacorante, was arrested this Wednesday after investigators identified her as the owner of the getaway vehicle. Tacorante turned herself in and posted a $25,000 bond. She faces charges of theft and conspiracy to commit theft.

As of now, the second stolen puppy remains missing. Authorities urge anyone with information on its whereabouts to contact Investigator Erik VanCleave at 720-874-7762 or by email at evancleave@arapahoegov.com.
