NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Metro Nashville Police Department (MNPD) detectives have arrested two men, Jalan Armstrong, 27, and Antoine Anderson, 39, in connection with a May 8 armed robbery at a gas station parking lot on Gallatin Pike.

Officers responded to the scene around 11 p.m. and found a 45-year-old man suffering from a serious gunshot wound to his upper arm. Police administered first aid at the scene before medics arrived to transport the victim to a local hospital.

During questioning, Armstrong admitted to the robbery, telling investigators that the victim owed him money. Armstrong explained that a struggle over the gun occurred, which led to the victim being shot.

Anderson, identified as the driver, allegedly transported Armstrong to and from the crime scene.

Both Armstrong and Anderson face charges of especially aggravated robbery and are being held on $75,000 bond each.
