WINSTON COUNTY, Ala. — Two men have been arrested following a burglary at the Duncan Bridge Marina in Winston County, the Sheriff’s Office reported.
The incident, which occurred several weeks ago, involved the theft of over $1,000 worth of property from the marina.
Darrell Denver “Danny” Horne faces charges of second-degree theft of property, second-degree criminal mischief, and failure to appear related to a prior charge. His suspected accomplice, Mickel Ray Hart, is also charged with second-degree theft and criminal mischief.
Both men remain in custody at the Winston County Jail on bond.
Sheriff Caleb Snoddy praised his deputies and investigative team for their quick work in solving the case, stating, “I’m certainly proud of my deputies and investigative team for handling this case quickly and arresting these individuals. I witnessed firsthand the hard work and attention invested.”
