Two Men Arrested for Duncan Bridge Marina Burglary in Winston County

Horne and Hart face theft and criminal mischief charges; Ashleigh Clarke charged with motor vehicle larceny

WINSTON COUNTY, Ala. (WBMA) — Two men were arrested following a burglary at Duncan Bridge Marina in Winston County where more than $1,000 worth of property was stolen.

The Winston County Sheriff’s Office reported that Darrell Denver “Danny” Horne was charged with second-degree theft of property, second-degree criminal mischief related to the marina theft and damages, and failure to appear on a previous charge.

His suspected accomplice, Mickel Ray Hart, faces similar charges of second-degree theft and criminal mischief.

Both men are currently being held on bond at Winston County Jail.

Sheriff Caleb Snoddy praised his deputies and investigative team for their swift work, stating, “I’m certainly proud of my deputies and investigative team for handling this case quickly and arresting these individuals. I witnessed firsthand the hard work and attention invested.”

In a related development, Ashleigh Paige Clarke, 35, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle.

All suspects are expected to make their first appearances in Lexington District Court on June 26.
