WEST YORK, Pa. — West York Borough Police have arrested Chantz Andrew Childs and Brittany Kay Becker in connection with a burglary that resulted in the theft of approximately $3,000 in sports memorabilia.

The burglary occurred just before midnight on October 25 at Common Ground Collectibles in the 1600 block of West Market Street. Police say a window had been smashed, and numerous items, including trading cards and autographed jerseys, were stolen.

Surveillance footage from the neighborhood connected Childs and Becker to the crime and showed the location of the stolen items. A subsequent search of their Monroe Street home led to the recovery of numerous stolen goods.

Childs faces multiple felony charges, including burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, criminal mischief, conspiracy to commit theft, receiving stolen property, and conspiracy to receive stolen property, along with misdemeanor prowling. His bail was set at $75,000, and he was booked into York County Prison.

Becker faces conspiracy charges related to burglary, theft, and receiving stolen property, as well as misdemeanor prowling. Her bail was set at $50,000, and she was also booked into York County Prison.

Preliminary hearings for both suspects are scheduled for December 10.
