by Sophia Bennett

PARIS, Tenn. — Police arrested two individuals Thursday in separate incidents, according to the Paris Police Department.

Authorities said officers were first called to a business in the 2500 block of N. Main Street regarding a theft of food and beverages. Thomas Ryan Manginell, 33, was later identified as a suspect. He was arrested in the 400 block of 35th Street NE and charged with theft under $2,500 with two prior convictions, a felony. Manginell was booked without incident.

In a separate incident, officers responded to a disturbance call in the 3900 block of Clarksville Street. During the investigation, Sara Marie Reed, 19, was found to have outstanding warrants. She was arrested on a probation violation warrant stemming from a previous possession of a controlled substance charge and was booked into county jail.

Police remind the public that all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
