Two Arrested in Manjeshwar for Plotting Robbery, Four Escape

Manjeshwar Police arrested Faizal from Ullal and Shaheed Aman from Tumkur early on Sunday morning after they were caught allegedly planning a robbery at Majir Palla near Varkadi. The suspects were stopped by police during a routine patrol around 3 AM when they were found in a suspicious car. Four accomplices managed to flee the scene, but with help from local citizens, the police apprehended the two suspects.

A scuffle broke out during the operation, resulting in injuries to the suspects, who were later admitted to Kasaragod General Hospital. The police recovered a gas cutter, a gas cylinder, and other items from the car, suggesting that the group was planning multiple robberies, possibly targeting banks. The police have launched a manhunt for the four absconding suspects.
