Two Arrested in Jasper County for Fentanyl Trafficking

Deputies seize 20 grams of fentanyl during Hardeeville traffic stop

JASPER COUNTY, S.C. – Jasper County deputies arrested Rigoberto Andino-Galdamez and Jan Ortiz-Rolon after a traffic stop in Hardeeville led to the seizure of 20 grams of fentanyl, officials said.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) charged both suspects with trafficking fentanyl and possession of a weapon during the commission of a violent crime. They are currently being held at the Jasper County Detention Center.

Sheriff’s Office Pledges to Fight Drug Trafficking
Sheriff Chris Malphrus emphasized the department’s commitment to combating the distribution of dangerous drugs in the community.

“We remain committed to holding those who traffic these substances accountable and keeping Jasper County safe,” Malphrus said.

Authorities continue to investigate the case as part of their ongoing efforts to curb drug trafficking in the region.
