Panchkula Police have arrested two suspects in connection with the theft of an Activa scooter owned by a gym trainer. The accused have been identified as Tejendra Singh, a resident of Gill village in Ludhiana, who was living as a tenant in Indira Colony, Mani Majra, Chandigarh, and Sonu, a resident of Mauli Jagran, Chandigarh.
According to the police, the complainant, Bablu Kumar, a gym trainer from Sector 15, Panchkula, reported the theft on December 6. Kumar stated that his scooter had been stolen from the rear end of the Sector 8 market in Panchkula. A case was promptly registered at the Sector 7 police station, and an investigation was initiated.
A breakthrough came when the Panchkula detective staff received a tip-off, leading them to arrest the two suspects near the Chandimandir railway station. The stolen scooter was also recovered during the operation.
The police have confirmed that both Tejendra Singh and Sonu have been taken into custody, and further investigation is underway.
