Two Arrested for Stealing Railway Tracks Worth Rs 8 Lakh in Jalna

Shaikh Moin and Shaikh Amjad Confess to Stealing Discarded Tracks

In Jalna, two individuals were arrested on Wednesday for allegedly stealing discarded railway tracks worth Rs 8 lakh, an official from the Railway Protection Force (RPF) confirmed. Shaikh Moin and Shaikh Amjad were apprehended after 12 tons of stolen railway tracks were found in a truck, which was en route to a steel trading firm.

RPF Inspector Pavan Ingle stated that the truck was intercepted, and during interrogation, the accused confessed to stealing the tracks from areas near railway stations in Jalna. A case has been registered under the Railways Act, and authorities are continuing their investigation to apprehend other members of the alleged gang involved in the thefts.
