Two individuals were arrested in separate operations on Monday, with MD drugs worth lakhs of rupees seized from their possession in Indore. The arrests took place in Chandan Nagar and Azad Nagar, respectively. Both suspects have prior criminal records, and investigations are ongoing to uncover further details about their involvement in the drug network.
According to Additional DCP Rajesh Dandotiya, the Crime Branch acted on a tip-off and arrested Mohammed Danish, a resident of Green Park Colony, for allegedly selling MD drugs. On Sunday night, police received information that Danish was heading to the MR 4 area to deliver drugs. A team was dispatched, and Danish was apprehended. Over 13 grams of MD drugs were recovered from his possession. Additionally, his two-wheeler and mobile phone were seized by the authorities.
Danish, who had studied only up to the 9th grade, has two prior drug-related offenses registered against him, according to senior police officials.
