IRVINE, Calif. — Two suspects were arrested for organized retail theft at the Irvine Spectrum Center on December 15, 2024, after stealing merchandise from a Lululemon store.
Anita Snell, 27, of Las Vegas, and Jamil Naylor Harris, 23, were identified as the suspects involved in the theft. According to the Irvine Police Department, officers responded to a theft in progress at Lululemon and observed four individuals fleeing the store with stolen merchandise. Two of the suspects were detained, while the other two managed to evade capture.
The stolen items, valued at over $800, were recovered from the suspects at the scene. Upon further investigation, police discovered additional stolen goods, worth around $2,000, inside the suspects’ vehicle. These items were reportedly taken from various stores across Southern California.
The suspects were arrested for organized retail theft and possession of stolen property. Authorities did not release a photograph of the suspects’ faces.
“We have a strong partnership with the Irvine Spectrum and their security team,” said the Irvine Police Department. “Our Spectrum Officers are dedicated to keeping the center safe every day of the week, and during the busy holiday season, we have additional officers on duty to support them.”
