Clackamas County, Ore. (February 22, 2025) — Two suspects were arrested on burglary, theft, and drug-related charges following a reported break-in at a residence near Wilsonville on Saturday, February 22.

At approximately 12:50 p.m., the Clackamas County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a possible burglary in progress at a home in the 12000 block of SW Wilsonville Rd, located in unincorporated Clackamas County. The homeowner had spotted two individuals—a male and a female—inside his house using a security camera, and he alerted authorities about the suspicious activity.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies located the suspects’ vehicle, a 2019 Toyota Grand Highlander, with two people inside. As deputies approached, the male suspect attempted to flee by driving through a nearby field, but his vehicle became stuck in the mud. The male suspect, later identified as Jesus Camarena, exited the vehicle and ran from law enforcement officers. With the assistance of two community members, deputies were able to apprehend him.

The female suspect remained in the vehicle until another deputy arrived and took her into custody. Initially, she provided deputies with a false name, but she was later identified as Julia Rose Sanftleben. The vehicle in question had been reported stolen from Keizer, Oregon.

Further investigation revealed that the suspects had likely entered the home multiple times and stolen various items. In the vehicle, deputies found multiple identifications, gift cards, and mail that did not belong to either suspect. Authorities also discovered methamphetamine and other drug-related materials inside the vehicle.

Both suspects were taken into custody and lodged in the Clackamas County Jail.
