TUSCUMBIA, Ala. — A Tuscumbia man faces multiple drug-related charges, felony indictments, and traffic violations after a high-speed chase through Colbert County last week.
The chase began Thursday afternoon on 3 Mile Lane when Deputy Luther Posey observed the suspect, 24-year-old Jacob Wayne Blystone, strike another vehicle. Sgt. Hunter White joined the pursuit, which reportedly reached speeds exceeding 120 miles per hour.
The pursuit continued through Leighton and into Muscle Shoals, ending near Webster School on 2nd Street, where Blystone was arrested.
Authorities say Blystone now faces several drug-related charges, felony indictments, and traffic offenses connected to the chase. He remains in the Colbert County Jail with a $47,500 bond.
