TUPLEO, Miss. – A Tupelo man has been arrested following a burglary at the Tupelo Academy of Cosmetology earlier this month.

On April 7, Tupelo Police responded to a report of a burglary at the business located at 205 North Commerce Street. Employees told officers that several items inside the building had been disturbed. After reviewing surveillance footage, authorities confirmed that an individual had unlawfully entered the academy and stolen multiple items.

Following a thorough investigation, 32-year-old Anthony D. Frazier of Tupelo was arrested on April 9 and charged with one count of burglary of a commercial building.

On April 10, Tupelo Municipal Court Judge Weir set Frazier’s bond at $20,000. The case will be presented to the Lee County Grand Jury for further review.
