Troy Man Robert Henderson Arrested for Fentanyl and Cocaine Possession

Arrest follows investigation into drug activity in Troy, NY

Troy, NY — Detectives from the Troy Police Department’s Special Operations Section arrested 37-year-old Robert Henderson of Troy following an investigation into drug activity in the city.

On February 27, 2025, at approximately 3 PM, detectives observed a subject they had been investigating for drug-related activities near 2nd Avenue and 102nd Street. During an interview, Henderson was found to be in possession of a significant amount of illegal drugs, including fentanyl and cocaine, leading to his arrest.

Henderson, who had previously been out on bail following a November 2024 arrest for drug possession with intent to sell, is facing multiple charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance, two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, and criminal sale of a controlled substance.

He is currently being held at the Troy Police Central Station and is awaiting arraignment in Troy City Court. Authorities are continuing to investigate his involvement in local drug trafficking.
