Travis Terry Arrested for First-Degree Assault in Milton, DE

Man charged after striking woman with glass bottle causing severe injury

MILTON, DE — Travis Terry, 37, was arrested on July 16 after allegedly injuring a woman during a domestic dispute on Federal Street.

Milton Police responded to the scene around 11 p.m., where they found the victim fleeing on foot with a severe head injury. Emergency medical personnel provided immediate treatment before transporting her to a hospital for further care.

Investigators reported that Terry struck the woman in the head with a glass bottle during the argument, causing significant bleeding and trauma.

Terry was arrested at the scene without resistance and charged with first-degree assault, possession of a deadly weapon during a felony, and interfering with emergency communications.

He was arraigned by the Justice of the Peace Court 7 and held at Sussex Correctional Institute on a $40,100 bond.
