WAUSAU, Wis. – Three individuals have been arrested and charged after a year-long investigation by the Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force into cocaine trafficking and money laundering linked to a Mexican drug cartel.
Travis Ingram, 37, Shelby Ingram, 35, and Markqui White, 38, were taken into custody on April 9 and formally charged on April 25 in Marathon County.
Markqui White, arrested at his residence in Weston, is facing 21 charges related to drug trafficking, including 13 counts of delivering cocaine. Authorities say White sold drugs to a confidential informant on 12 separate occasions from February 2024 to January 2025. After his arrest, police seized $36,005 worth of cocaine from his home. He remains jailed on a $750,000 cash bond.
Travis and Shelby Ingram were arrested at their Mosinee home. When officers arrived, Shelby initially claimed Travis wasn’t home. He was later discovered inside, allegedly attempting to destroy evidence. Officers found cocaine hidden in cat litter and inside a toilet p-trap; Travis is suspected of trying to ingest some of the drugs. In total, $39,400 worth of cocaine was recovered from the property.
Travis Ingram’s bond was set at $500,000 cash, while Shelby Ingram is being held on a $100,000 cash bond.
Court records also indicate that both White and Travis Ingram laundered drug money at Wisconsin casinos.
All three defendants are scheduled for a hearing on May 5 to determine if their cases will proceed to trial.
The Central Wisconsin Drug Task Force includes agencies from Waushara, Marquette, Green Lake, Portage, Adams, Juneau, Waupaca, and Wood counties, along with police departments from Marshfield, Wisconsin Rapids, Stevens Point, Berlin, Waupaca, and Grand Rapids.
The seized narcotics have been forwarded to the FBI’s Milwaukee office for further analysis.
