GORDON COUNTY, GA – A man with a lengthy criminal history was arrested Thursday following a major drug bust at his home in Calhoun.
Tracy Van McEntyre, 62, was taken into custody after Gordon County detectives executed a search warrant at his residence on 200 Tara Drive. The investigation, which began in May, was focused on a suspected methamphetamine trafficking operation.
During the search, officers discovered large quantities of crystal methamphetamine and liquid methamphetamine, along with cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms.
McEntyre has been charged with manufacturing and trafficking methamphetamine, in addition to multiple other drug-related offenses.
According to jail records, McEntyre has a criminal history with more than 10 prior arrests and at least two previous convictions for drug trafficking.
He remains in custody as the investigation continues.
