Toronto Woman Cheyenne Ouimette Wanted for Theft and Assault

Ouimette allegedly brandished knife during retail theft in Toronto

TORONTO, ON – A 31-year-old woman from Toronto, Cheyenne Ouimette, is currently wanted by police in connection with a retail theft and assault with a weapon.

Toronto Police allege that on Sunday at 10:47 p.m., Ouimette entered a store located in the Queen St. E. and Logan Ave. area. She grabbed items from the shelves and attempted to leave the store without paying. When the victim tried to stop her, Ouimette allegedly brandished a knife and took two more items before fleeing the scene.

Ouimette is wanted for assault with a weapon and theft under $5,000. Authorities are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact police at 416-808-5500 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477) or via their website at 222tips.com.
