Police in Lancaster County have arrested Tonya Snyder, charging her with stealing a cash box containing more than $1,700 from Ephrata Food Mart.

Ephrata Police said they spent nearly a month searching for Snyder after surveillance footage showed her taking the cash box from behind the checkout counter on May 8.

On Saturday night, Manheim Township Police informed Ephrata authorities that Snyder was in custody.

Snyder is currently being held at Lancaster County Prison as the investigation continues.
