Toneisha Williams, Antranice Phillips Arrested in Assault

Clarksville women face charges after Christmas theft

CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Two women were arrested in connection with a Christmas Eve theft and assault at City Gear in Governors Square Mall, authorities said.

According to the Clarksville Police Department, three women entered the store on Dec. 24, 2025, around 3:30 p.m. and attempted to steal merchandise. The store’s anti-theft alarm was triggered, and employees recovered the stolen items.

Police said the women initially left the store but returned to confront the store manager and an employee. During the confrontation, Toneisha Williams, 28, and Antranice Phillips, 27, allegedly entered a restricted area and physically assaulted both employees.

Burglary warrants were obtained for Williams and Phillips, who were arrested on Jan. 16, 2026.
