Tina Adkins Arrested for Drug Trafficking in Pike County

Woman charged with trafficking marijuana and controlled substances

PIKE COUNTY, Ky. – A Phelps woman, Tina Adkins, 48, was arrested on August 16 after being stopped for a traffic violation and subsequently charged with drug trafficking.

Police pulled Adkins over after noticing she was not wearing a seat belt. During the stop, officers found a black box containing marijuana, Adipex (a controlled substance), and drug paraphernalia.

Adkins reportedly admitted to carrying a pipe hidden in her shirt.

She faces two counts of trafficking in a controlled substance, trafficking in marijuana, and multiple traffic offenses.

Adkins was taken into custody and booked into the Pike County Detention Center.
