LEE COUNTY, Va. — A former employee of Lee County Schools, Tiffany B. Slusher of Duffield, has been arrested and charged with 25 counts of embezzlement, according to the Virginia State Police.
Slusher was taken into custody on Monday as part of an ongoing financial investigation involving the school system. School officials confirmed she has not been employed by Lee County Schools since July 2025.
Authorities have not yet released additional details regarding the nature or extent of the alleged embezzlement. More information will be provided as the investigation continues.
