Los Banos, CA (November 13, 2025) — Two individuals were arrested in a targeted retail theft operation in Los Banos, aimed at curbing repeated shoplifting affecting local businesses.
Police confirmed the arrest of Tiffany Ornelas (DOB: 09/09/1988) on suspicion of PC 484(a), covering theft of property. Brittany Gutierrez (DOB: 05/05/1994) was also arrested under PC 459.5, the California statute for shoplifting.
During the operation, officers recovered stolen merchandise from local retailers. The Los Banos Police Department emphasized that these enforcement efforts are part of an ongoing initiative to protect businesses and maintain public safety.
